Rev. Kwang-soo Lee

President of One World Peace Association

Rev. Kwang-soo Lee was born in Anseong, South Korea, in 1954. As a young man, Rev. Lee supported the rural enlightenment movement in South Korea. He later received a calling to be a pastor, leading several churches in Goseong, Cheorwon, and Hwacheon in Gangwon province.

While serving as a pastor in South Korea, he taught about the importance of family values in creating a more harmonious society and peaceful world. Painfully aware of the reality of a divided country, he focused much of his time on supporting the movement for the reconciliation and unification of South and North Korea.

In 1990, he began his missionary work in Argentina, where he continued to teach the importance of family values and supported unity in Latin America through the Causa movement.

In 1997, he moved to Estonia and led a church on the Baltic coast for two years. In Estonia, he also led character development seminars for public school teachers.

In 1999, Rev. Lee moved to the United States, where he served as the director of the Eastern Korean branch of the Universal Peace Federation in America.

In 2020, Rev. Lee formed OWPA to continue his mission of world peace by providing aid and support to undeveloped nations.
