Mr. Eric Jeon

OWPA Director of International Service

Chanin Jeon was born in Yangyang, Gangwon Province. While attending Goseong Geojin Middle and High School, he received a great vision from heaven and made a firm resolution to live a life of service. After joining the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, he dedicated himself to guiding students and youth at Goseong Church in Gangwon Province. After majoring in pastoral studies, he served in ministry in Cheolwon, Hoengseong, Yangyang, Yanggu, Danyang in North Chungcheong Province, Yangpyeong in Gyeonggi Province, and Gyeyang in Incheon, receiving many awards for his outstanding achievements.

He also actively participated in lectures and various activities for the peaceful reunification of North and South Korea as part of the Citizens’ Federation for the Reunification of Korea.

In 1990, after completing a missionary training program in Japan, he was dispatched as a missionary to Ghana in West Africa, where he engaged in acupuncture service and missionary work.

In 2001, he graduated from the Unification Theological Seminary (UTS) in New York with a Master’s degree in Religious Education. Since July 2003, he has been serving as the senior pastor of the Korean Family Church in Queens, New York, and is also dedicating himself to Cuba as his second mission field.

He is a founding member of OWPA and is currently serving as a volunteer director.
